Access to employment

Access to Employment brings together disabled students and graduates from LSE and Imperial with diversity recruiters and representatives from a range of industries. The event is not focussed on recruitment but rather an opportunity for students to gain information about disability and recruitment/employment, gain confidence, learn about how inclusive employers work, meet fellow disabled students and enjoy themselves (employers too) all in a fun relaxed environment. Over the years we have had nearly 500 Disabled students attend the event.

What Will The Event Cover?

The day includes information sessions covering a range of topics including:

  • Disclosure
  • Access to Work and Reasonable adjustments
  • Non industry focused interview practice with Graduate recruiters
  • Q&A panel
  • Networking and group work with diversity recruiters from a range of organisations

Please note the interview sessions are not for recruitment purposes but to give students practice and feedback to raise confidence in an interview setting and as such will not include and industry specific questions unless requested by, and agreed with, the individual student.
