Collaboration Tools

The Digital Skills Lab is offering staff members collaboration tools drop-ins via Teams for online live training consultations and best use advice on:

  • OneDrive
  • SharePoint
  • MS Teams
  • Other MS Teams Apps such as Forms, OneNote and Tasks

Sessions take place via Teams at the following times:

Monday 2-3pm

Thursdays 10-11am

No advanced booking required. 

How to join

1. Go to the teams overview

2. Click on 'Join or create team' button

3. Enter the code 1bfehik

4. Click on the Collaboration Software channel in the DSL-Drop-in-Support team page

5. Scroll down to the latest conversation to enter your question

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams allows you to chat online with colleagues, share and collaborate on files, set up virtual meetings and phone calls, and organise all your team's work in one place. Review the comprehensive set of guides to get started or get tips for more efficient use of Teams.

Filedrop is a secure service allowing LSE staff to send large files securely. 

 

Microsoft SharePoint - Site Owners Training

Please complete the Site Owners Moodle lesson prior to applying for a site or becoming a site owner. The Site Owners Training Manual will provide a space to record your planning notes and to find out how to set up and maintain your SharePoint site.

 

Microsoft SharePoint - End User training

The End Users Training Manual is for all SharePoint users and provides instructions on using SharePoint to upload, maintain, edit and collaborate on documents within SharePoint as well as using other supported features such as the SharePoint Calendar and Contacts.

 

OneDrive for Business (OD4B)

series of guides are available to help you sync files to your desktop, share files with your colleagues, and troubleshoot issues with OD4B.

We're offering drop-in sessions to help you with your Microsoft Office problems in the following tools: Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Sessions take place via Teams at the following times:

  • Friday 11 to 12pm
