Important information for event planning

When planning your event you will need to ensure you comply with the following policies and regulations along with any guidance given by the Students Union. 

  • Public Meetings Act 1908
  • LSE Code of Practice on Free Speech
  • LSE Health and Safety Policy
  • Gender Segregation Guidance
  • The Prevent Statutory Duty
  • Building Access Policy

Understanding these regulations will also help you to think about your responsbilities when you are completing your SU events form and risk assessment. You may also be required to complete an Equality Impact Assessment depending on the nature of your event.
