Learning Lab Study Advisers
Learning Lab Study Advisers are available to talk with you about key skills like reading, making notes, essay writing, research, exam revision, managing your time and other study-related matters.
Book an appointment in Student Hub. Appointments are available Monday-Friday, 10am - 6pm (London Time). We currently offer sessions online, via Microsoft Teams, and on campus in LSE LIFE Workspace 1 on the ground floor of the Library. We offer sessions throughout the academic year, including Spring Term and during the summer.
Please note:
Bookings open one week in advance, and we're currently offering about 30 appointments every day. If you find no appointments available to book in the coming week, or if you have difficulties making use of this resource, please contact us by email at lselife@lse.ac.uk, or stop by the LSE LIFE reception on the ground floor of the Library. If there has been a cancellation, we are sometimes able to arrange a short meeting on the same day where you can check in with a Study Adviser with a quick question.
Learning Lab Study Advisers cannot proofread your work. They can talk with you about how you can learn to proofread your own work better, though! The Language Centre offers a paid proofreading service, as do other service providers.
The Learning Lab Study Advisers are just one part of the wide range of support you can find at LSE. Explore this guide to support around health, wellbeing, and more.

If so, why not book an appointment to talk with the Learning Lab's Quantitative Study Adviser, Dr Masha Burmistrova?

Academic integrity one-to-ones
Have you got questions about Turnitin, referencing, paraphrasing, using generative AI tools, or any other aspect of academic integrity? Look no further! This is not a workshop or a taught session, but a chance to bring any questions you wish to discuss. No question is too silly!
Because everyone will be seen individually in order to provide personalised advice, you may be asked to wait for a few minutes until someone is available to speak with you. All sessions are online.
