For information about  how to apply for the Change Makers programme, we've put together some application guidelines.

We held a launch workshop on Wednesday 16 October 2024 for prospective applicants to find out more about submitting a successful application, and finding team-mates.

You can review the slides and contact us with any questions.

A further workshop will be arranged for all successful applicants in early December.

You are required to submit your application as part of a pair or a team:

• You can ask peers on your programme, from your hall, a club/society, or someone else you have met on campus to work on a Change Makers application with you. 
• If you are looking for team-mates, you can use our Change Makers Group Finder (please log in to Office 365 using your LSE email address to access the file) to advertise for others to join you in making an application.

You are required to submit an application based on one of the staff-proposed projects located in a specific LSE department (or set of departments).

Some of these staff-proposed projects have proposed specific research question(s) and method(s), while others leave it more open to the researcher.

If you are interested in a project that would give the researchers a degree of autonomy in shaping the research method(s) used, we've prepared a guide to help you.

We welcome project proposals from groups of any currently registered LSE students who have not previously been Change Makers.

Please complete your application as fully as possible, using all the guidance provided.
