24/7 support

Talking can help. If you need to speak to someone on the phone immediately or outside of working hours, call our partners Spectrum.Life. You can call them from outside the UK (although please note that support for students calling from the USA or Canada will be more limited, for legal reasons).

About Spectrum.Life

This term, you can access a 24/7 mental health support line sponsored by the School via Spectrum.Life. All calls are answered by clinically trained counsellors or psychotherapists.

You can talk to them about anything, including stress, anxiety, low mood, financial worries, loss and grief, relationship problems, and substance abuse issues.

Please note Spectrum.Life will ask for some basic details to ensure you're eligible to use the service. All services provided through Spectrum.Life are done so in total confidence. The identity of individuals and personal details will always be protected.

Other support at LSE

You can still access wellbeing and mental health support, including counselling and peer support, through the Student Wellbeing Service. Visit the webpage to find out more.
