Student-led projects

LSE Student-Led Volunteering Projects gives you the opportunity to start your own volunteering programme, with your fellow students, to make a difference for a cause you’re passionate about. We want to hear your ideas and support you to make them a reality, whether it’s working with a local school, elderly people or setting up a gardening club. As part of the programme, you will not only will you be given support in setting up your project but also volunteer recruitment and management training as well as leadership training and financial support for the project.

If you are interested in becoming a project leader and setting up a project, you can complete a Project Proposal form and send it to volunteer@lse.ac.uk. If you are interested in the programme but have questions, please don’t hesitate to email volunteer@lse.ac.uk to set up a meeting.

You can join the Moodle page to access the support resources for the rest of the programme.
