Chris Abraham
Senior Salesforce Developer

Chris works to administer the CRM (Salesforce) platform, develop and maintain improvements for new and existing stakeholders, as well as supporting our current users' daily use of the CRM. He is currently responsible for public-facing forms to collect marketing and event information, providing developments for online applications and their paperless processing, configuring and creating support helpdesks to help teams more effectively manage their inboxes. Having started out at LSE as a Timetabling Assistant, Chris has an understanding of the student-facing side of professional services and, as a recent graduate, the student experience.

Rob Appleton
Senior SITS Developer

As one of the team's SITS Developers, Rob helps maintain and develop processes for various teams across the School on the database, including working closely with the Results team on the Summer School application form. Prior to joining ARD Systems, Rob worked for the Graduate Admissions Office for several years and has also held roles in the Student Services Centre and LSE Summer School, and has therefore built up considerable experience of the systems he supports.

Ambia Begum
Salesforce Administrator/Developer

Ambia is one of our Salesforce Developers and is currently working on developing a paperless application system for Undergraduate Admissions. She has also spent a year working as a Systems Support Officer in the team where she built her knowledge of the Salesforce CRM as well as SITS and e:Vision. Ambia is also responsible for managing team social events. Ambia joined ARD Systems from the LSE Summer School having previously been an LSE MSc student.

Shuma Begum
ARD Systems Support Officer

As one of the team's Systems Support Officers, Shuma is the first line of support whenever users report issues or make requests relating to any of the School’s systems. She is also responsible for training new users on SITS and Salesforce, and has extensive experience of doing the latter. 

Shuma is currently on secondment to ARD Systems from the PhD Academy. 

Ed Burls
Senior Salesforce Developer

Ed has led on various implementations of the Salesforce CRM at LSE: in particular, introducing the CRM to the Widening Participation team to manage online applications for their programmes, aid decision making and manage programme events and communications with their stakeholders. He liaises with users to help get them best out of the CRM, and plans and advises on new developments. Ed started at LSE as a Business Analyst and prior to that worked for 9 years as a CRM Business Analyst at the Big Lottery Fund.

Fergus Deery
Salesforce Administrator/Developer

Fergus is one of the team's developers, working on delivering projects and solutions using the Salesforce platform.

Previously, Fergus has worked in the team as a Support Officer, and also fronted the roll-out of the School’s new Salesforce-based selection system in his previous role as the Graduate Admissions Office’s Salesforce Specialist. In other capacities, Fergus has also amassed extensive experience of data modelling, maintenance, and visualization.

Mark Devlin
Management Information Officer

Mark joined the School in 2000 and works on statutory reporting to HESA in the annual Student Return, internal reporting on student outcomes such as course and award outcomes, equality and diversity characteristics, and providing data related to those areas for others to report on.

John Griffiths
Salesforce Administrator/Developer

John joined the ARD Systems team in August 2018 as a Salesforce Developer. He is focussed on delivering many of the School wide and localised CRM projects that are in the pipeline. Before LSE, he worked as a web developer at Regent’s University London, focusing particularly on front-end development of their student portal and e:Vision. He has also worked in VFX, and was a web developer for five years at Double Negative.

Jacob Hodgson Stokes
Salesforce Administrator/Developer

Jacob handles issues that come to the ARD Systems helpdesk, providing support for users of the School’s Student Record System and CRM, including SITS, e:Vision and Salesforce. He is focussed on assisting the Salesforce implementation programme as project support and also delivering small projects on the platform. 

Jacob joined the ARD Systems team in October 2018 as a Graduate Intern, having graduated from LSE in the summer of 2018.

Gar Mun Hui

Gar is one of the team's Salesforce Administror/Developers, working within the platform to deliver updates to existing services as well as delivering new projects. 

Gar joined ARD Systems on secondment from Student Marketing and Recruitment and has also worked as a Systems Support Officer within ARD Systems.

Amongst many other projects, Gar has worked on the implementation of Marketing Cloud as a communications and marketing tool across the School.

Andy Kaufman
Enterprise CRM and Student Records System Manager

Andy has oversight of the activities of the ARD Systems team which maintains, supports and develops the school’s student record system (SITS), staff portal, online application forms and CRM (Salesforce). He is responsible for ensuring SITS and other student systems are used effectively, overseeing developments, refining business processes, while also helping to ensure that the School’s statutory reporting responsibilities are met. Having previously worked in the Graduate Admissions office and then going on to the ARD Systems Developer role, Andy is very familiar with the online application forms for Graduate Admissions and the General Course, but his work now mostly consists of making sure the highly-skilled ARD Systems team members support and improve ARD’s business processes in the most productive way possible.

Char Mullin
ARD Systems Support Officer

Char is one of the first points of call when users raise queries about or report issues with e:Vision, SITS, or Salesforce. She performs routine maintenance tasks on the latter two platforms, ensuring data accuracy and tidiness, and answers Freedom of Information and data requests.

Prior to joining LSE in April 2023, Char worked as the Student Records and Exams Manager at Regent's University London. 

Daniel Newby
Senior Salesforce Developer

Dan is a systems administrator and developer for the Salesforce CRM. He has worked on configuring and implementing the marketing communications, event management and service desk apps within Salesforce for various offices around the School. He has also worked as a Systems Support Officer, providing first line support for Salesforce, SITS and e:Vision users. Dan has worked in several other offices around the School, including Graduate Admissions and Student Marketing & Recruitment, and consequently has a good understanding of the business needs of systems users.

Ben Platt
SITS Developer 

Ben is a SITS Developer, working on various projects that require a solution within the SITS database. 

Ben joined ARD Systems from the Graduate Admissions Office in 2021 as a Systems and Project Support Officer. He worked on the team's Service Desk, acting as first-line support for queries and issues that came through to the team.

Helen Richardson
ARD Systems Support Officer

Helen is one of the ARD Systems Support Officers in the team. Before joining ARDS in March 2023, Helen gained a wealth of experience working with the Salesforce platform, particularly with the Graduate Online Selection Portal, in Graduate Admissions.

Along with the other support officers, Helen handles issues that come into the ARD Systems helpdesk, providing support for users of the School’s Student Record System and CRM, including SITS, e:Vision and Salesforce. 

Jonathan Stephen
SITS Developer

Jonathan joined LSE in September 2018 working on SITS development projects, including the online application form and back-office e:Vision processes. He has worked with SITS for over 15 years in various capacities, starting in the admissions offices at Kingston University before joining the team supporting and developing SITS. More recently he worked at the Courtauld Institute of Art managing their SITS system. Working at a small specialist institution allowed him to become involved in all aspects of the student lifecycle and develop SITS/e:Vision solutions to help improve and streamline processes.

Abel Tao
Operations and Service Desk Manager

Abel manages the implementation and roll out of core services to teams across the School, including Salesforce Service Desks and Live Chat. He also manages the ARDS Service Desk team.

Before working in ARD Systems, Abel worked in Graduate Admissions for many years, building up the institutional and technical knowledge that he brings to the role.
