1. Education and awareness


Our work in education and awareness:

  • Developing a wide selection of new training (including EDI, LGBTQ+ Inclusion and Allyship training) for staff members.
  • Exploring what training would be most effective for students.
  • Creating an FAQ page on LGBTQ+ Inclusion, to support faculty and PSS staff.


Outcomes and impact: 

  • All staff and new hires are expected to take our EDI Essentials and Bullying & Harassment: Effective Interventions additional training, on LSE's learning platform.
  • All staff are expected to take the new Harassment and Sexual Misconduct Affecting Students in Higher Education training, on LSE's learning platform. This includes content on LGBTQ+ related harassment.
  • All staff are equipped to respond with an empathetic approach to common and challenging questions regarding LGBTQ+ Inclusion.
