LGBTQ-Action-Plan
1. Education and awareness
1. Education and awareness
Our work in education and awareness:
Developing a wide selection of new
training
(including EDI, LGBTQ+ Inclusion and Allyship training) for staff members.
Exploring what training would be most effective for students.
Creating an FAQ page on LGBTQ+ Inclusion, to support faculty and PSS staff.
Outcomes and impact:
All staff and new hires are expected to take our
EDI Essentials
and
Bullying & Harassment: Effective Interventions
additional training
,
on
LSE's learning platform
.
All staff are expected to take the new
Harassment and Sexual Misconduct Affecting Students in Higher Education
training, on
LSE's learning platform
. This includes content on LGBTQ+ related harassment.
All staff are equipped to respond with an empathetic approach to common and challenging questions regarding LGBTQ+ Inclusion.
