In early June, LSE welcomed a group of colleagues from India on campus. The delegation was received by our President and Vice Chancellor Larry Kramer, Lord Nicholas Stern and the Global Academic Engagement team represented by Dr Mengxi Pang.
This week-long capacity-building workshop, LSE-Delhi Global Engagement Week, was facilitated by the British Council India and coordinated by the GAE team at LSE. The delegation met and exchanged with over ten teams across the School, discussing higher education administration and research with LSE professional services and faculty colleagues.
Founded in 1922, the University of Delhi is one of the largest universities in India with 16 faculties, over 80 academic departments, an equal number of colleges and over 700 000 students.
