Welcome to the Teaching Quality Assurance and Review Office (TQARO) at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
TQARO is part of the Academic Registrar's Division and is located on the sixth floor of Pankhurst House.
Quality Assurance as an activity seeks to answer some very fundamental questions. How can the School be sure of the standards of its degrees and other qualifications? How can it be sure of the quality of the teaching and student support on its courses and programmes? There is a very direct link between quality assurance and improving student learning opportunities and student outcomes through a process of contniuous improvement. The processes of assurance and review enable the School to have a clearer idea of its strengths and weaknesses so that it can celebrate the former and address the latter.
