LSE Careers services for alumni

LSE alumni can access our services for up to five years

What services can you access?

All LSE alumni

All LSE alumni have access to our Resource Centre and careers information website.

Within five years of finishing your degree

LSE Careers continues to work with and provide careers support to alumni for up to five years after completing your programme.

If you completed your programme less than two years ago

You have full access to our services, including booking one-to-one careers advice appointmentsevents and our vacancy board.

If you completed your programme between two to five years ago

You can book an alumni careers discussion appointment on CareerHub. You can book up to two hours of one-to-one appointments with one of our careers consultants. Complete an appointment request form to book an appointment.

We also run a series of targeted events specifically for alumni who completed their course over two years ago and you also have access to CareerHub to view our vacancy board

How can you access these services?

If you completed your programme less than five years ago

LSE alumni can access CareerHub for five years after you complete your programme at LSE. Please note that this is not the date you graduate; it is usually the end of June for undergraduates and nine month master's students and the end of September for 12 month master's students.

Access to careers appointments changes depending on how long ago you completed your course. See our appointments page for more information.

Logging in

Go to and enter your CareerHub account username and password below the heading 'Login with your CareerHub account'

If you didn't activate your CareerHub account as a student you will need to set your password the first time you try and log in. If you still have access to the email address registered with LSE then you can reset your password to set up your alumni CareerHub Account.

If you no longer have access to the email registered with LSE then complete a new login request form to gain access to CareerHub. We aim to respond to your request within one working day.

Please note: if you completed your programme less than two years ago you can use your LSE Public Account details to log in if you prefer. Select 'Login with your LSE IT account' to use these details.

If you have problems

Please contact us if you have any issues with your CareerHub account. If possible include your student number, a screenshot of the problem and the browser you are using.

If you completed your programme more than five years ago

Unfortunately you are not able to access CareerHub if you finished your programme more than five years ago.

However you can still access almost all of the information on the LSE Careers website and in our Resource Centre for free.

We can also recommend some external careers consultancy services if you feel you need some one-to-one guidance or support. Please note that these services do charge.

If you're just about to complete your programme

If you are about to complete your programme (or have recently completed) you should activate your CareerHub account. You will need your CareerHub account to log into CareerHub once your LSE IT account expires.

You can activate this account by logging out of CareerHub, then visiting and selecting 'Reset your password' in the CareerHub account section.

The LSE Careers site has CareerHub instructions for current LSE students.

How can you work with LSE Careers?

We encourage alumni to come back to LSE and participate in our events. We run a range of different events throughout the year and these can help your company raise their profile at LSE, whilst helping current LSE students learn about different sectors and careers skills.

For more information on careers events at LSE please contact the Employer Engagement Team.
