What takes place and when?

As part of Careers in China, we will be hosting four careers fairs in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong during August 2026:

• Beijing Fair (Monday 10 August 2026)

How much does it cost to take part?

Our Stand Only package is free for an employer to have a stand at each fair (without a sponsorship package).

• Beijing Fair - Free (stand only)
• Shanghai Fair - Free (stand only)
• Shenzhen Fair - Free (stand only)   
• Hong Kong Fair - Free (stand only)

For each event, we also have two different sponsorship packages available: Corporate  and Premium. Availability of each package is based on strict limits for each venue, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Corporate sponsorship gives you:

• Employer stand at fair
• Logo in digital brochure
• Logo on all event posters and signage on the day
• Logo within the event ticketing system denoting your corporate partnership 

Corporate sponsorship costs:

• Beijing Fair Corporate Sponsorship - £350
• Shanghai Fair Corporate Sponsorship - £350  
• Shenzhen Fair Corporate Sponsorship - £350 
• Hong Kong Fair Corporate Sponsorship - £350

We offer three premium sponsorships per fair location. 
Premium sponsorship includes all the benefits of the corporate sponsorship package, plus: 

• Full page A4 colour advert in the digital brochure.
• A marketing email (up to 400 words) to all booked attendees at partner universities.
• A 50-minute virtual employer presentation to students across partner universities in July or September, coordinated by our team. 

Premium sponsorship costs: 

• Beijing Fair Premium Sponsorship - £1,250
• Shanghai Fair Premium Sponsorship - £1,250
• Shenzhen Fair Premium Sponsorship - £1,250 
• Hong Kong Fair Premium Sponsorship - £1,250

These events are a fantastic opportunity for organisations to connect with a talented, engaged cohort of students from leading academic institutions in the UK and US, specifically interested in pursuing careers in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.  

Who is it for?

Our Careers in China events are designed to support students and alumni who are looking to pursue careers in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. As such,  we'd like to invite organisations to take part who: 

• Have opportunities (internships, graduate schemes, experienced hire positions, etc) in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
• Are looking to attract and hire high-calibre students and recent graduates.
• Conduct work in sectors including (but not limited to) Accounting and Auditing; Advertising; Marketing; Public Relations; Media, Entertainment, Publishing and Journalism; Banking and Financial Services; Consultancy; Education, Teaching and Research; Engineering; FMCG, Manufacturing and Retail; Government, Public Sector and Policy; Health; Information, Digital Technology and Data; Law and Legal Services; NGOs, Charities and International Development; and Real Estate and Environmental Energy.
