Applications Day is LSE Careers' day-long event dedicated to supporting your job search and equipping you with the tools to create standout applications. It's the ideal event for students and recent graduates looking to prepare strong applications, whether you're ready to apply for or have already started applying and interviewing for opportunities.
Applications day usually takes place on a Saturday during the first week of Autumn Term, and features sessions around:
- How to write cover letters
- How to write effective CVs
- How to write effective application forms
- Using LinkedIn in your job search
- How to prepare for employer numeracy tests
- CV Q&A drop-ins
- Working in the UK during your studies
- CVs for experienced hires
- Aptitude and psychometric tests
- Hot topic conversations (eg, AI, ATS, etc)
