Dive into different sectors (including those you may not yet have considered!)
Our Sector Discovery programmes showcase a selection of resources, opportunities and flagship events to help you explore your options across a particular sector. Each programme is designed with the needs of a particular area in mind, so exactly what's on offer will vary from programme to programme.

Bookings for the events running as part of each Sector Discovery programme will open on a different date depending on when the events are running, so keep an eye on your emails and our social media (@lsecareers) for the 'bookings open' announcements.
Boost your professional skills (from writing your CV, to interviewing well.)
In addition to our sector-specific events, LSE Careers also hosts a range of workshops to equip you with the skills to succeed. These include:
- interview skills workshops (new for Lent 2023);
- CV, cover letter and applications workshops;
- mock assessment centres;
- seminars on case studies and psychometric tests.

Our Meet an Alum series gives you the opportunity to meet with LSE alumni and ask any questions you might have about their experiences - whether that's about their job search, their career journey, or their current role.

Employer recruitment and networking events
These themed recruitment and networking events provide a relaxed and informal environment for students to meet with representatives from a variety of organisations. You'll have the opportunity to ask lots of questions to gain honest insights into their organisation and the work they do, their opportunities, recruitment processes, organisational culture, and you'll also receive helpful advice, hints, and tips on how to get into the sector.
