This page is your overview of Lent Term 2023 at LSE Careers - from how you can find out about getting into a particular sector, to seeking help with your application materials, to where you can look for job vacancies and internships.

Whether you know your next steps and need support fulfilling them, or you’ve barely even thought about the word ‘career’ since writing your personal statement, we're here to work with you across this term and beyond.

What's on

Join us this term to explore different sectors, work on your professional skills, apply for a Summer Internship, and speak to a range of employers about upcoming recruitment opportunities. The majority of our events will be on campus this term, and we've picked out a few highlights for you below...

Dive into different sectors (including those you may not yet have considered!)

Our Sector Discovery programmes showcase a selection of resources, opportunities and flagship events to help you explore your options across a particular sector. Each programme is designed with the needs of a particular area in mind, so exactly what's on offer will vary from programme to programme.

Across Lent Term 2023, you can join us for any part of the following sector-specific programmes:

Bookings for the events running as part of each Sector Discovery programme will open on a different date depending on when the events are running, so keep an eye on your emails and our social media (@lsecareers) for the 'bookings open' announcements.

Boost your professional skills (from writing your CV, to interviewing well.)

In addition to our sector-specific events, LSE Careers also hosts a range of workshops to equip you with the skills to succeed. These include:

  • interview skills workshops (new for Lent 2023);
  • CV, cover letter and applications workshops;
  • mock assessment centres;
  • seminars on case studies and psychometric tests.

You can browse all upcoming events on CareerHub.
