Coming up in Winter Term
We know some of you like to plan ahead, so here's a sneak peek of what you can expect from Winter Term 2026 at LSE Careers:
- Opportunities to connect with employers – you'll be able to join skills seminars and presentations hosted by organisations working across a full range of sectors popular with LSE grads. Sometimes these sessions have short booking windows so make sure you regularly check for new event listings on CareerHub.
- Events to help you explore your options around the world – From France to India, our upcoming country-specific careers programmes will bring together events and resources you can use to explore career options and paths in particular countries. Check out our 'What's on' overview page for a full list of programmes.
- Find your niche: Upcoming sector discovery programmes – Each of LSE Careers' sector discovery programmes showcases a series of events and useful resources to help you consider whether a particular sector or industry is for you, find out more about the types of roles available, and gather top tips for working in that space. In Winter Term, you'll be able to join events dedicated to careers in: International development; Data; Tech; Sustainability; Social impact; Public sector and policy; Creative industries and Political risk.
- No idea where to start? It's not too late – A common misconception is that Winter Term is too late to start thinking about 'careers stuff', but that's not true. While some sectors do mainly recruit early in the academic year, many others recruit year-round, and so there's usually still time to get some guidance, join a skills workshop, or polish up your interview technique. Keep an eye out for more details in January about where you can catch up with LSE Careers as part of 'Welcome back', or you can book an appointment with us whenever you're ready to get started.
