Part-time Opportunity: Digital Skills Trainer - NVivo

 

  •  £26.14 - £31.48 / hour (depending on experience)
  • This is a fixed term contract until 31 July 2024 (possible extension to 31 July 2025)

  • Candidates must be residing in the UK for this role
  • The Digital Skills Lab is seeking an experienced trainer to deliver effective and engaging technical training to LSE students and staff. Workshops are currently delivered in person and training takes place on campus. Each workshop will last between 1 to 3 hours and will have up to 16 participants. Trainers will be expected to work between 5 to 10 hours per week.  
  • The successful candidate will have experience in delivering training in NVivo and be able to re-purpose existing learning content to deliver short, high-quality training courses.  Experience of any of the following technologies listed is also desirable:  
  • Python, R, SPSS, SQL, Stata, Tableau, Git/GitHub, LaTeX, MatLab 
  • Web scraping
  • Machine Learning techniques 
  • Database design and SQL
  • Text Analysis
  • Markdown , particularly R Markdown
