LSE Digital Support Fund

LSE DIGITAL SUPPORT FUND IS NOW CLOSED

The LSE Digital Support Fund was established during the pandemic due to the campus being closed and to support students with the associated costs of online learning and study.

Now that the facilities on campus are fully available we are no longer accepting specific applications to the Digitial Support Fund. Instead this funding will be merged with our other in-course funding - Access Fund and Student Support Fund. Anyone with financial difficulties related to digital costs is advised to complete the In-Course Financial Support Application. You will need to demonstrate that you have sufficient funding to cover the standard programme costs (tuition fees and living costs), and do not have funds available to cover additional digital related costs.

Applications will be assessed on a case by case basis; we will consider appications where a faulty laptop cannot be covered by existing insurance policies; we will also consider applications from new students from low-income backgrounds who have not previously owned a laptop e.g. were using a school owned device.

Awards made from the Access Fund or Student Support Fund for digital related costs will be capped at £500.

Please note that by submitting an In-course Financial Support application form, the Financial Support Office can also consider you for any other funding that you may be eligible for at the same time.

How to apply

The Digitial Support Fund is now closed. Please see information on the financial support web pages about other in-course funding available.
