Monash University Postgraduate Research Scholarships

Monash University offers a number of postgraduate research scholarships. Closing date each year is normally 31 October.

BUNAC Educational Scholarship Trust (BEST) Travel Awards

The BEST Travel Awards are open to UK passport holders who are currently studying at a UK university or college,  or have been within the last five years, who are looking to undertake postgraduate studies in the US or Canada

Canada Memorial Foundation Scholarships

These scholarships are offered annually for British students or graduates wishing to pursue a postgraduate course at a university or other appropriate institution in Canada

The Scholarships, tenable for one year only, will cover air-fares, fees, maintenance and other allowances. These awards are not available for study at doctoral level.

Candidates should be United Kingdom citizens resident within the United Kingdom.  They should hold, or expect to hold, a first or upper second class Honours degree.

CRCC Asia - British Council Disability Scholarship

The Disability Scholarship Program in China is run in conjunction with the British Council and is specifically intended for an academically excellent student with a disability. The selected candidates will benefit from a two-month internship program in Beijing or Shanghai, working with the British Council carrying out a general business placement.  Upon completion of the program, students are able to boost their CVs with their international internship experience, stand out from the crowd and prepare for their career ahead.

Denmark

Anglo Danish Society Awards

Awards for students of Danish nationality for scholarships tenable at universities or other approved institution in the UK, with a first degree from a Danish university.  There are also scholarships for UK graduates pursuing their studies in Denmark.

In all cases preference will be given to applicants who have either embarked on postgraduate research leading to a higher degree (normally a PhD), or who are assured of being able to do so in the academic year following submission of their application.

Germany

British Chamber of Commerce in Germany Foundation Scholarship

The BCCG Foundation is a charity registered in Germany. Since the formation in Germany in 1983 the Foundation has been providing financial support and partial scholarships to young British and German nationals for study or research in the Federal Republic of Germany or the United Kingdom respectively. In this way it seeks to promote understanding between the peoples and the furtherance of cultural relations between the two countries.

Citizens of the UK are eligible to apply for awards for study or research in Germany, and German citizens for awards for study or research in the UK. Applicants should be undertaking full time courses of study at universities leading to degrees, diplomas or equivalent qualifications.

DAAD Scholarships

Are you interested in studying or carrying out research at a German university?

DAAD (Deutscher Akadmischer Austausch Dienst/German Academic Exchange Service), a private, publicly funded, self governing organisation of higher education institutions in Germany, offers funding for study and research in Germany. Grants are available for all academic levels of study. DAAD grants are available to academic staff and students in the United Kingdom to participate in a wide variety of academic programmes. Applicants must normally be citizens of the UK and Ireland.

European Scholarship

The Evangelisches Studienwerk Villigst is a German protestant church foundation offering scholarships to European students studying in Germany. Eligible applicants should speak an advanced level of German. There are two closing dates for these on going scholarships: 1 March for winter terms; 1 September for summer terms.

India

India Commonweatlh Scholarship and Fellowship Plan 2016 for citizens of the UK

As part of the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP), the Government of India is offering two awards for scholarships to UK citizens wishing to study in India.

Candidates must be citizens of the United Kingdom and must meet the eligibility requirements of the course and institution at which they intend to study (courses in medicine or dentistry are not eligible).

Priority will be given to candidates who have not previously studied in India.

Israel

The Azrieli Foundation

The Azrieli Fellows Progam welcomes the best and brightest postdoctoral scholars who wish to undertake postdoctoral research in Israel. Scholars may undertake research in any field of study.

Institute of Latin American Studies

Cornell Club of London Summer School Scholarship

The Cornell Club of London, comprising alumni of Cornell University residing in the UK, wishes to offer its scholarship for U.K. undergraduate students. The successful applicant will receive a scholarship to cover the major costs of attending the six week summer session (June to August) at Cornell
