How to use LSE LIFE

We're available, wherever you are.

Think of LSE LIFE as your personal guide to LSE. We work closely with teams from across the university - including Careers, Wellbeing Service, the Library, Volunteer Centre, Sustainability, and many more - to create a single place where you can find all the opportunities available to you outside the classroom. We can then help you make sense of everything, and find the skills, programmes, and experiences that feel right for you.

Looking for depth? Choose ongoing opportunitiess like SU societies, mentoring, volunteering or research programmes to build experience and networks over time. Want to try something new? Discover one-off events like essay writing workshops, public lectures from world-leading experts, free gallery and museum trips, and information fairs.

On campus

The LSE LIFE reception, located on the Ground floor of the Library, is open 9.30am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday.

One-to-ones

You don’t have to figure it all out alone. Meet an LSE LIFE adviser for personalised guidance about student life, settling into London, or making the most of what’s on offer. We can help clarify your goals, make a plan for your next steps, and help you find the teams and programmes that best fit your interests. We provide one-to-one sessions throughout the entire year - including over the summer break! 30-minute appointments can be booked via Student Hub.

Check out our one-to-one webpage for more details about how an LSE LIFE study adviser can help you.

The LSE LIFE Moodle page is full of resources to help you with academic reading, writing, critical thinking, getting organised and other key skills for success at LSE. Just look under “My courses” on Moodle, and you should find LSE LIFE there. Filter the selection of resources by clicking on icons.
