LIFE Conversations: Meet the team

LIFE Conversations give you the space to air your questions, concerns, and ideas about your life as an LSE student.  Because a LIFE Conversation can cover many different topics, the people who offer them come from different backgrounds and areas of work at the School.  We each bring different perspectives, but what we have in common is our interest in talking with you about whatever's on your mind.

I'm Emma, and I have a passion for the meaningful exchanges I have with students every day in LSE LIFE.  I value connection through dialogue, and I'll offer you a welcoming space to talk things through, reflect on your experiences, and feel more connected to yourself, your community, and your time at LSE.  Some of my favourite LIFE Conversations have been about confidence, belonging, and self-development.  I'm also very familiar with different teams across the School and often connect students with other helpful colleagues or teams.   Whatever you'd like to bring, or if you simply want to be heard, I'd be glad to meet with you.

I'm Daniel. One of the things I value most about working at LSE is talking with students about what matters to them. In our conversation, I'll offer you a space to think out loud, bounce around ideas, make sense of challenges, and explore your goals and next steps. I've managed departments and teams at LSE for some years now, I’m also a so I can help you think through practical options at the School and find what's right for you.  I'd like LIFE Conversations to be a place to reflect on what's working well for you and what you might want to change.

I'm Jessica - an enthusiastic pianist, a warden at an LSE residence, and a PhD graduate from LSE (with a focus on communication and sound studies). I enjoy talking with students about many different aspects of their student experience - from the practical matters of living away from home, to questions of confidence and motivation.  I'd be happy to offer you a space to think things through, whatever's on your mind.
