Our Welcome to LSE100 sessions are a fantastic opportunity for new undergraduate students to learn more about the LSE100 course, meet fellow first-years from other Departments and connect with the wider LSE community.
In these sessions, students also learn about the teams and services at LSE that will support their learning on LSE100 and throughout their studies, including LSE Learning Lab.
In Welcome Week 2026, the LSE100 team were delighted to meet over 800 first-year undergraduate stdents across eight Welcome to LSE100 sessions. Led by the LSE100 Co-directors, Dr Chris Blunt and Dr Jilliant Terry, the events introduced from across all LSE Departments to LSE100 and what to expect from the School's flagship interdisciplinary course, which will form a distinctive part of their first-year education and experience.
All sessions took place in-person in LSE LIFE Workplace 4 (on the Ground Floor of LSE Library).
Thank you to every student who came along to the sessions. We hope you enjoyed learning about what you can expect from LSE100 and how to get the most out of it, as well as perhaps making some new friends in the process.
