Supporting and accrediting your teaching

teaching and teachers are as important to LSE as research and researchers.

The Eden Centre provides a range of teaching qualifications and development opportunities for new and experienced teaching staff, as well as professional services staff who are directly involved in supporting student learning.

All our qualifications are accredited by the UK Higher Education Academy (HEA), which is part of AdvanceHE, and offers Fellowship awards that are recognised both nationally and internationally.

The Eden Centre offers two taught courses: the Principles of Teaching in Higher Education (PoTHE) and the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCertHE). We also provide a supported route to professional recognition, the Eden Fellows Scheme. Each is designed for participants with particular roles and different levels of experience.
