Sub-Committees and deadlines for 2024/25

The School has three Sub-Committees which consider new programmes/courses and amendments to existing provision.

Each of the three committees is a Sub-Committee of the Education Committee and considers a different level of provision on behalf of it:

• Undergraduate Studies Sub-Committee: for Undergraduate and Diploma proposals
• Graduate Studies Sub-Committee: for Postgraduate Taught proposals
• Research Degrees Sub-Committee: for MRes and MPhil/PhD proposals

You should also consider the relevant deadlines for 

• new programmes** to appear in the printed prospectus 
• new courses** to appear in the School's publications/systems
• modifications to existing courses and programmes considered by Department Teaching Committees (DTCs)

** PLEASE NOTE: All new course and programme proposals will need to be submitted via the new CM system, Akari, and departments are encouraged to contact TQARO if you are planning to submit a proposal to any of the above committees during 2024/25 for implementation in a future academic year. Please contact TQARO to confirm your intention to submit a proposal so the appropriate support and training can be arranged.
