Cleaning criteria
Cleaning will be carried out between Monday and Friday from 06:00-08:30am

Cleaned daily
- Common Areas (Common areas are defined as: kitchenettes, corridors, rest rooms, computer rooms and main stair cases)
- Catering facilities
- Toilets
- External areas
Fire Exit Stairs: Cleaned twice a week and checked on a daily basis
(Please note: Due to their size and layout, the Old Building office floors are split into two for the purposes of cleaning: front and rear).
Saturday and Sunday: General cleaning of basement and ground floor toilet facilities. General clean of computer rooms in basement and the Main Lodge Facilities (tea room and main reception area).
Outside term time
Periodic work scheduled by Estates and by request by department
Weekend cleaning requirement?
The above cleaning provision refers to the normal working week (Monday to Friday). If you are organising an event taking place at a weekend, or you are using a teaching facility and require the room to be cleaned before/after your event and/or cleaning of toilet facilities, then please ensure that you clearly state your requirement to Conferences when booking your room.
