The RISe Programme is led by the Research and Innovation Division and delivered in collaboration with colleagues across the School, including the LSE Library, LSE Early Career Researcher Network, and the Knowledge Exchange and Impact Integrated Service. As your career develops, and the research and innovation funding landscape evolves, the sessions are designed to enhance the skills you need to flourish throughout the R&I lifecycle.
Join us to learn more about the process of applying for research funding at LSE, designing research applications, integrating knowledge exchange and impact into your work, innovation opportunities for researchers and many other topics, in sessions designed to help you advance your research and your career.
Our RISe programme provides an overview of all sessions that took place during the Autumn Term 2024.
The RISe team can also help build custom training for your academic unit. We are skilled in training development for grant-winning and can advise on the best sessions to meet your learning outcomes including workshops, seminars, panels and learning materials (virtually and in-person). For support with bespoke training please contact your Research Development Manager in the first instance.
Knowledge exchange sessions are run by the KEI Integrated Service team through their training programme. The sessions are primarily aimed at researchers of any level. View upcoming sessions here.
For additional guidance on applying for external UKRI funding, please visit our RISe Knowledge Hub. Here you will find information including how to navigate The Funding Service, developing your Résumé for Research and Innovation (R4RI), and adhering to best practice in research.
