You have access to MyCareer, our online platform where you can search and apply for jobs and opportunities, as well as book appointments and events.

  • International students in the UK who are currently on a student visa 

  • Students looking to work overseas International students returning to work in their home country after studying

LSE-exclusive internships and programmes 

LSE Skills Accelerator

What is it? A short virtual programme with Practera that helps you build professional skills and could lead to a two‑week part‑time team project with a partner employer. 

Who can apply? Current students (if you have less than 12 weeks work experience you’ll be prioritised)

When do applications usually open? October, December and March

Summer Internship Programme

What is it? A programme offering exclusive summer internships with UK charities, SMEs and start‑ups to help you develop professional skills, explore career options and build confidence. 

Who can apply? Penultimate year undergraduate students (with limited work experience) and final year undergraduate students (with limited work experience).

When do applications usually open? November

Parliamentary Internships Programme

What is it? A long running programme, established by LSE alum and Governor Barrry Sheerman MP, that connects LSE students with part-time internships in Westminster, working with MPs and peers across both Houses of Parliament.

Who can apply? Current master's and PhD students from any department

Please note, for in person and hybrid roles, in order to be eligible for security clearance, applicants must meet the UK address history criteria – having resided in the UK for at least three of the last five years.

When do applications usually open? Between September and December (different internships have different deadlines)

LSE Graduate Internships 

What is it? A scheme offering recent LSE graduates fixed-term paid roles on project-based work across the School to help develop technical and transferable skills for their future careers.

Who can apply? Alumni who have graduated in the past 24 months, from any department

When do applications usually open? Throughout Winter Term
