Jobs and opportunities

Introduction

There are a number of places to begin searching for jobs and opportunities – both during your time at LSE and beyond.

Outlined below are a range of resources and initiatives facilitated directly by LSE Careers to support your search and enable you to identify opportunities to build your experience and plan your next role and position.

Vacancy boards

CareerHub

The main job site we encourage employers to use when they are keen to target and recruit LSE students and graduates.

We proactively source relevant opportunities and alumni often contact us to post their vacancies. Opportunities include part-time work, internships, work experience, volunteering, graduate jobs and schemes.

Use search filters (keywords, job type, industry etc) and save your searches to get relevant vacancies sent directly to your inbox. You can also use search for companies that have worked with LSE previously. They may not be advertising with us currently but you could identify possible companies of interest and make a direct approach or see if they are advertising elsewhere.

Student Circus

Student Circus has three features:

- A job search portal for international students in the UK who are currently on a student visa.

- An international jobs portal for students looking to work overseas.

- Country career guides for international students returning to work in their home country after studying.

External vacancy boards

We’ve compiled a useful list of job sites and vacancy boards covering a range of roles, types of organisations and sectors.
