Careers in Brussels

Are you an LSE student or alum looking to work for EU institutions or the organisations that work with them? If so, you're in the right place.

One of LSE Careers' most popular initiatives, Careers in Brussels is a bespoke programme of support for LSE students and alumni looking to kickstart their career in the so-called 'Brussels Bubble'.

Alongside a year-round package of information and resources (as showcased below), the programme also includes a flagship event series held in Brussels itself, giving you the perfect chance to explore your options, network with other students, alumni and employers, and get ready to make your applications.

At the heart of the programme is our in-country Careers in Brussels Fair; a unique opportunity to connect with representatives from organisations looking to recruit high-calibre interns and graduates for roles in Brussels. Held in collaboration with Sciences Po in Paris and the College of Europe in Bruges, this event is open to students from all disciplines and years of study, but is likely to be of particular interest and relevance to master's level students who don't require visa sponsorship to work in the EU.

Read on to find out more about our year-round Careers in Brussels resources and support, as well as how to book onto upcoming events.

Our Careers in Brussels events for 2025/26 will primarily take place in Belgium in February 2026, with preparation events happening at LSE and online during Autumn Term 2025.

Key things to note before you book onto the February 2026 events:

  • You need to book onto each event separately. These are stand alone events and so, unlike some of our other programmes, you don't need a space at the Fair to book onto the other sessions and office visits.
  • The events are open to students from all disciplines and years of study, but are likely to be of particular interest and relevance to master's level students and graduates.
  • While we aim to showcase a broad selection of employers, many of the organisations present are not able to sponsor visas so please consider this before booking a place.
  • Attendees will need to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the events. To support with these costs, we offer a limited number of £100 grants to students who would otherwise be unable to attend. To be considered for one of these grants, please book your space at your chosen events and then fill out the Careers in Brussels Grant Application Form before Sunday 30 November 2025.

How to book:

As they're published, you'll be able to browse and book all Careers in Brussels events on CareerHub.

Individual booking links and 'bookings open' dates are listed above.

As also mentioned above, each event is standalone and so you can book onto one session, or several. The Careers in Brussels Fair in particular books up incredibly quickly, but there will be cancellations closer to the time so please do join the waitlist. There will also be several employer office visits opening for bookings in January 2026 and so, if you miss out on a fair ticket, you will still be able to join one or more of these insight sessions instead.
