Bookable appointments
If you have questions about financial support, you can now book a 15-minute 1-to-1 appointment with a member of the Financial Support Office for help with funding, payment queries, scholarships, PhD studentships, and in-course financial support.
If you have not done so already, we encourage you to download Zoom in advance of attending your appointment.
These appointments can provide guidance and support on a range of financial support and funding queries, including:
- Emergency financial assistance
- Advice on completing in-course funding application forms
- Payment queries for LSE funding
- All queries relating to LSE PhD Studentships, ESRC funding, AHRC funding, Department scholarships/studentships
- Additional funding for ESRC students relating to fieldwork or overseas visits
- Final Year PhD Funding queries
Please note that the Fees Office within the Fees, Income and Credit Control Team (FICC) is separate to the Financial Support Office.
The Fees Office can assist with the following:
- All queries relating to the payment of LSE tuition fees
- Tuition fee refunds
- Sponsor invoicing
- US or Canadian student loans

Bookable appointments will be available Monday-Friday during term time
During out of term periods, appointments will be available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
If you are unable to attend any of the available appointments, or have an enquiry that you think will take longer than 15 minutes to discuss, you are welcome to contact the Financial Support Office.
