It is important to remember that looking after your wellbeing is just as important as meeting deadlines for applications or coursework. This is easier said than done and something you might have to actively work on. As much for your time at LSE as for your life after graduation: Try to understand what influences your wellbeing, know your strengths and weaknesses and find a balance that works for you.
Both LSE LIFE and the Wellbeing Service host regular sessions to help you think about these questions and work on developing an approach that works for you. Also, there are a variety of activities that can help you wind down, such as the wellbeing sessions hosted by the Faith Centre, or crafts and mindfulness events by the Wellbeing Service and the LSESU. It can always be helpful to talk to someone about your experiences, too. The Wellbeing Service offers drop-in sessions and appointments – do not hesitate to reach out for support.
