Sustainable LSE announced their awards for the 2020 Green Impact scheme today and LSE100's project "LSE Fun 100" won two awards! The team took home awards for Best Project and for Leading the Way! Thanks to everyone for their dedication to the LSE Fun 100 and a special thanks to Dr Emily Cousens and Dr Rian Mulcahy for their hard work in designing and setting up the project!

Our LSE100 Green Impact Initiative ends today! Over the past five weeks, our staff have earned over 8,000 points for taking action to create meaningful sustainable change in their lives! We developed and shared vegan recipes, switched to sustainable energy companies, and wrote to MPs asking them to focus on sustainable priorities. Congratulations to all our staff!

We’re kicking off our LSE100 Green Impact Initiative today with our staff and teachers! Over the next five weeks staff will work to develop sustainable habits such as cycling to work, bringing packed lunches and using less single-use plastic. Good luck everyone!

Big congratulations to LSE100 teacher Dr Emily Cousens on passing her viva at Oxford Brookes University! Emily’s thesis Feminism and the Politics of Vulnerability: Re-assessing contributions from the feminist ‘Second Wave’ interrogates and historicises the notable absence of sexual violence as a theme in recent literature.
