As part of ongoing improvement works, functionalities in LfY will be migrated to new Student LfY

As part of ongoing improvement works, the LfY Replacement Project Team are currently migrating functionalilites that currently are in LSE for You (LfY) to new Student LSE for You. This migration will take place over a few releases, the first of which is at the beginning of Autumn Term 2023 and a second at the end of November 2023.

Some functionalities will need to remain in LfY as the migration will take longer. This includes all elements on course selection so please continue to use current processes.

FAQs on the change:

At the beginning of Autumn Term, new Student LfY was released as a BETA version to students in the first instance, allowing the Project Team to test the new platform and get feedback. It has been therefore running alongside old LfY so you can use both during the Autumn Term. Staff have continued to use old LfY functionality during this period, but Professional Services Staff have had a limited view of new LfY to aid them in supporting students.

On 22 November 2023, we ‘turned off’ the main elements of LfY to students and you can now solely access core tasks via new Student LfY. Please see these webpages for more details of what's in new Student LfY and FAQs answered.

More details on future releases will be published here over the course of the year, please check back closer to when those releases take place.

Please see this webpage for what is available in new Student LfY.

All other functionalities, including all course selection and exam timetable elements, will remain in current LfY.
