Campus enrolling with a Visa Application in Process

You can only be fully campus enrolled once your visa has been granted and you have brought it to a special session to be scanned.

It is possible to campus enrol at LSE whilst your application for a Student visa is being processed providing you can legally make the switch from your current visa to a Student visa whilst in the UK.

You will be campus enrolled on a temporary basis until your visa is granted. Once you receive your new Biomentric Residence Permit you must bring it to a special session to be scanned. Once it has been scanned and added to your record you will be fully enrolled.

What to bring

You will need to bring the following documents with you to campus enrolment

  • Your pre-enrolment pass
  • The application coversheet from your Student visa application
  • Your passport (if you have not sent it to the Home Office). If you have sent your passport to the Home Office then you will need to bring a photocopy of the details page and another form of original ID (such as a driving licence).
  • Your current visa. We need to see your current visa so that we know you are in a position to switch to a Student visa whilst in the UK.

Next Steps

If you have a visa application in process you will be campus enrolled on a temporary basis until your visa is granted.

Once you receive your new Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) you must bring it to a special session to be scanned. Once it has been scanned and added to your record you will be fully campus enrolled.
