New Student Registration

for Executive Masters programmes

When to register, where to go and what to bring with you

When and where

Executive programmes have varying starting points throughout the year and the registration schedule recognises this.

The times and locations for registration are  set to make best use of your time, they are often  just before teaching starts or in the evening to avoid extra trips to campus.

You can find out when you are due to register by checking the executive registration and Welcome Presentation schedule.

What to bring

When you register we are legally required to check your eligibility to study in the UK. We do this by checking various documents. The documents you'll need vary depending on your nationality and visa (if applicable). If you do not bring the appropriate identification documents we will not be able to register you on your programme.

  • Students from the UK should bring their passport. If you do not have a passport please  visit what to bring to registration for alternative options. A driving licence does not verify nationality and is therefore not sufficient for registration purposes.
  • Students from EU/EEA countries should bring their Passport or National ID Card. A driving licence does not verify nationality and is therefore not sufficient for registration purposes.
  • Students from outside the EU/EEA will most likely be registering with a short-term study visa. You will need to bring your passport which should contain a short-term study visa. Depending on your nationality and how you applied it will either be a single entry stamp or a multi-entry vignette (sticker).
  • If you plan to register with another type of visa For details of what you need to bring with you please visit what to bring to registration

In accordance with UK Home Office requirements, the School is required to take a scan of ALL students' passports or national identity cards at registration.

What if I can't make my slot?

Given the intensive teaching schedule of Executive Programmes it is important that you register on time. However, we recognise that this is not always possible and will try to be as flexible as possible.

If you are not going to make your scheduled registration slot please contact your Programme Manager to see what alternatives are possible.

Vias verification sessions

Depending on the type of visa you hold we may need to verify your eligibility to study before each of your teaching blocks. If this applies we will email you to let you know.
