That’s completely normal. If you’re unsure, book a careers discussion appointment and your consultant will help you identify the best next steps.
We are committed to ensuring all students and graduates can access our services. If you require any adjustments to fully participate in an appointment, please contact us in advance and we will be happy to help.
To get the most from your session, we recommend that you:
-
Reflect on what you would like to discuss and note any key questions
-
Upload any documents you want to review to MyCareer in advance
-
If you are seeking CV feedback, run your CV through CareerSet beforehand
-
Explore our online resources or consider attending a related event first If you are joining the appointment online, please download the Microsoft Teams app and sign in using your LSE email address and join the appointment from a quiet, private location.
If you are joining us in person, please liaise with your Careers Consultant for details on where to meet, as we’d love to welcome you back to campus.
Cancellation and non‑attendance policy
Appointments are in high demand, and cancelling in advance helps another student benefit from the slot.
If you can no longer attend please cancel as early as possible via MyCareer (up to 24 hours in advance for practice interviews OR up to 40 minutes in advance for careers and CV appointments).
If you do not attend without cancelling, or arrive more than 10 minutes late, you will be marked as absent.
Students who record four absences within a 14‑day period will have their online booking privileges suspended for 14 days.
