Marks for all assessments (including IRDAP) will show
You'll only see one overall course mark and grade for the year

If you took an assessment during IRDAP then this mark will appear in addition to the mark from the academic year. However, you will only see one overall grade for the course. For example:

  • If you deferred a piece of coursework from the 2022/23 academic year to IRDAP an asterisk will show for the academic year and a mark will show for IRDAP. The mark from IRDAP will have been used in calculating your overall grade for the course in 2022/23.
  • If you achieved a mark of 5 in an exam in January 2023 then resat the exam in IRDAP achieving a mark of 70 both marks will show. The mark of 70 will have been used in calculating your overall grade for the course (but remember, it will have been capped).

Assessments with an asterisk(*)

If an asterisk(*) shows against an assessment this means either

  • You have a confirmed deferral in place for that assessment.
  • You were not able to take the assessment during IRDAP 2023 because the mark was returned late because of the marking and assessment boycott.

Course Grades

Grades show against courses. You can interpret them using the list below:

1 = First class [70-100%]
2A = Upper Second class [60-69%]
2B = Lower Second class [50-59%]
3 = Third [40-49%]
F = Fail [0-39%]
NA = At least one component of assessment has EITHER been deferred OR it was not possible for you to take it during IRDAP 2023 due to the marking and assessment boycott.
AB = Absent from all components of assessment
I = Incomplete (i.e. you were absent from at least one component of assessment)
