Accessible LSE
Lectures and seminars which are scheduled for inaccessible venues can be moved to accommodate students with mobility difficulties, Disability and Mental Health Service will liaise with Timetabling and the academic department.
Accessible and gender neutral toilets, in addition to other accessible features, are listed on the accessibility map.
AccessAble have produced detailed access guides to the LSE campus and residences and route maps between key locations. These are available at lse.ac.uk/AccessAble
When using lifts around campus please always give priority to staff and students with disabilities.

DMHS can put in place support and recommend adjustments to the learning and teaching environment which will help remove barriers to disabled students.

Equity Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)
The School’s overall work on equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) is led by LSE’s EDI Office.
The EDI Team have created a guide for ensuring that events are accessible - whether they are in-person, or hybrid. Likewise, they can advise on accessibility of the School Estate, buildings and facilities.

IT support for disabled students
LSE is committed to the provision of facilities and support for disabled students and staff, to ensure equality of access to services. Additional PCs and printing facilities for disabled students are provided in the public computer areas in the Library. LSE Faith Centre
The Faith Centre, found on the 2nd floor of SAW, is a unique space on campus, home to the LSE’s diverse religious activities, transformational interfaith leadership programmes, wellbeing classes, and a reflective space for all staff and students away from the noise of campus life. You can find The Cave for meditation, male and female Islamic prayer and washrooms and a bookable space for all student faith societies. Jummah prayers are held on Fridays in the Venue, in the basement of SAW.
The Faith Centre team is working to make the LSE campus fully faith-inclusive and we have a team of associate chaplains available to speak confidentially on any issue arising during your time at the LSE regardless of faith or belief.
The Faith Centre is open every day from 9.30am to 5.30pm, with your LSE staff or student card needed for out of hours access. The Student Wellbeing Service works with you and the wider school to explore and manage challenges relating to disability, and to support your wellbeing so you can make the most of your LSE experience.
