In Summer 2024 final results will be sent to students by email.
You can find out when to expect your results email on publication of results.
Information about interpreting your results, including information about provisional classifications, can be found on understanding results.
If you are concerned that your results may be incorrect, you can request an Administrative Mark Check. If you are unhappy with your results and wish to challenge the Exam Board's decision it is open to you to appeal. Further information on how to submit an appeal and on the School's appeals regulations and process, including instructions and deadlines for appealing, are on the Challenging Results page. You should note that the School operates a strict deadline for administrative mark check requests and appeals.
If you have an outstanding debt to the School will not be sent their results and should contact Credit Control (credit.control@lse.ac.uk) as soon as possible.
If you are involved in an ongoing Academic Misconduct case you will not be sent your results. You should contact your department if you require more information.
The results email is not an official transcript. In the event of any discrepancy between the email and your official transcript, the official transcript will be the final and correct version.
In order to be eligible for the award of a degree you must make a serious attempt at every element of assessment. Check the LSE Calendar for more information.
If you have failed or deferred any assessments but still have attempts remaining, and you are not yet eligible for a degree, you will automatically be re-entered for the next available opportunity for your programme and level of study. You will receive a separate email shortly with guidance about your options. For more information and support visit Re-entry.
