In April 2025 we launched the first phase of our work to display your results in Student LSE for You. This involved displaying your Historic results on the Results tab. You can find your historic results by navigating to My Assessments and then clicking on the Results tab.
At the moment the screen will display results between the 2014/15 and 2023/24 academic years (inclusive). You will have already recieved all of these results, either in 'old' LSE for You or by email. The results on his screen have already been ratified and should not change. They will match what is shown on your transcript.
There are no new results on this screen - marks from the 2024/25 academic year will not show. Results from RDAP1 will not show and provisional marks from January exams will not show.
In many ways, this is a beta product. We've very deliberately started with historic results because you already know these details and it gives us space to make sure that we're doing everything correctly. We know how important it is to get your results correct so wanted to take the time to do this slowly. This product has undergone extensive testing but we're really keen to hear your feedback as we work towards the next stages.
You also told us that you'd like access to historic results as soon as possible so that you don't need to search through emails or request a transcript. We're pleased to be able to offer you this functionality early in the development work.
The results screens in new LSE for You:
- Have been designed with you in mind. The data is displayed in a way that we think will work for students. It's not displayed as we store it in the student records system, it's displayed how you'd like to view it.
- Are truly mobile friendly. You should be able to access these results using your mobile device with no problems.
- Offer you the option to group your results by year or by course. This is super helpful if you have had to take assessments from one course over a number of years.
- Clarify when you have deferred or been absent from an assessment.
- Allow you to see as much or little detail as you want.
- Show results for all taught students. They also show results for research students that have taken taught courses.
- You will not be able to see your results if you have a debt to LSE or if the Student Services Centre have imposed a block.
If you have a question about your results then you may check these webpages:
Since July 2023, when we started sending results by email, we've also provided specific guidance for each set of results which you might find helpful.
You can also contact the Student Services Centre if you have a question or need advice about your results. For questions about what shows on the results tab select Results and Awards. For advice and support about what comes next select Engaging with my studies.
In many ways, this is a beta product. We've very deliberately started with historic results because you already know these details and will know what they mean. It's lower risk for us to publish this data and gives us a chance to see what you think.
We're really keen to hear to know whether you think the screen gives you the data in a way that is easy to understand. If you'd like to provide feedback then please do so using the form below.
You will not normally get a response to any submissions made here. If you have a question about your results then please contact the Student Services Centre.
For details of how to obtain official confirmation of your results and how to share your results with third parites visit the following webpages.
We're currently working on the mechanism to release new final results. This will mean that when new results are ratified you'll be able to access them in LSE for You and will not need to wait for an email.
We're also working on publishing your overall status after each set of results - for example confirming if you've been awarded or have progressed. When this work is complete you will have a complete set of results information available in LSE for You.
We're also working on publishing provisional marks via LSE for You. We share provisional marks with certain groups of students at certain times of year to allow you to prepare for your next steps, either at LSE or elsewhere. Doing this in LSE for You will make sure that you can access all the information in one place.
Keep an eye on Student News for updates as our work progresses.
Staff can continue to view student results via the photographs app in 'old' LSE for You. New provisional and new final results are only avialable in 'old' LSE for You at the moment.
However, we would encourage you to start using the new results screens so that you get comfortable with the layout etc.
